Welcome to Benoit Greenhouses!!

 

We are a family owned Wholesale greenhouse & Retail Garden Center located in Kankakee, Illinois. We provide spring flowering plants to independent garden centers and landscapers located in south Chicagoland, northwest Indiana and central Illinois. Our Garden Center is open to the public during the spring and offers annuals, perennials, vegetable plants, tropicals and so much more. We are also open in the fall and offer pumpkins, gourds, mums & more!!!

 

How it all began

Our original greenhouses were originally constructed by Charles Splear in 1884.

Garden center history

In 2016 we bought our Garden Center greenhouses on ebay. We (Brad, Vince, & Luke) drove to Decatur, Indiana to take them down, spent two & half days removing every bolt and screw, and then built them again, with some added improvements.’
