About us.

Benoit Greenhouses has been serving the horticultural industry since 1975 but the greenhouses on Splear Road have a much longer history. Originally constructed in 1884 by Charles Splear, the greenhouses have been producing quality plants ever since. The business stayed in the Splear family until the 1960’s when it was purchased by Charles Jans. In 1975, we purchased the business in partnership with Mark and Brenda Benoit . Chris & I were the sole owners from 1989-2019, when our son Luke & his wife Mandy purchased the business.

While there have been changes and additions to the greenhouses over the years, our commitment to quality and service has remained constant.  We continuously look for and grow new products to ensure our customers have the plant material needed for their customers.  We grow a beautiful selection of annuals for your spring sale needs.  Please tour our website to see a more detailed list and pictures of our wholesale plant inventory. 

We are a family run business that understands the importance of delivering a saleable plant in a timely manner. All of our children have been active in the business with our son, Luke, currently being our head grower & owner with his wife Mandy, and the others helping out during the spring season. 

One of our strengths is customer loyalty. Since our company opened its doors in 1975, we've treated every customer like they were part of the family.   Many of our customers have been with us from the beginning and new ones we gain are always pleased with our product.
